Network-Wide Ad Blocking with Pi-Hole

The guys at Pi-hole have created an awesome little project that will do network-wide DNS ad blocking. No more ads, and no more installing adblock at home. The best part is that it forwards DNS to your local DNS server, so your local DNS stays in place unaffected. It's easy- just fire up a raspberry pi with raspbian or load it to a VM. The footprint is incredibly small- I gave it 1 CPU and 512MB memory and it hasn't affected my internet connection speed at all.

Drupal Error 500 With A Correct Server Configuration in VirtualMin

This past week I migrated some sites that were originally on their own server to a cloud server running VirtualMin. After migrating the sites, everything seemed to be in place including the MySQL database, files, DNS, etc. However, I kept getting a 500 Internal Server Error when loading the site. To fix this, I had to change options in the .htaccess file for both the main site and the files directory (sites/default/files): Change Options +FollowSymLinks to # Options +FollowSymLinks Options +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch

What Went Wrong With Modern Warfare 3

I've picked up MW3 again recently and have come to the conclusion that it is nowhere near Black Ops for multiplayer. It's not, and I have my reasons. I think that Infinity Ward did some things correctly when it came to multiplayer, such as adding Kill Confirmed and introducing a Death Streak system. Unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good, and for this I think that BO2 will be the major step forward that MW3 should have been. First, the good:
